She said a regional FTA would generate synergy and offer them diverse opportunities to do business together.
As for a recent decline in two-way trade, President Park asked the businessmen to work towards expanding trade, currently focused on intermediary goods, to cover consumer goods.
The association′s chairman expressed hopes of increasing cooperation in medicine and nursing, as both countries have to address low birth rates and aging populations.
President Park didn′t touch on historical issues that have strained Korea-Japan relations in recent years.,
