Detroit’s Rocket Fiber debuts super-fast Internet
Rocket Fiber, which promises to deliver the fastest Internet available, debuted its downtown Detroit headquarters Thursday and launched service to two Capitol Park apartments complexes.
The startup contends its new fiber optic Internet service is 1,000 times faster than the average Internet connectivity in Detroit. That claim appears to be legitimate, says a Michigan State University professor who studies electronic and mobile commerce and Internet networks.

Average U.S. rate on 30-year mortgage jumps to 3.98%
Average long-term U.S. mortgage rates this week rose sharply for a second straight week as expectations grew that the Federal Reserve may soon raise its key short-term interest rate.

On the flip side (such a great pun considering the industry!), if you are happy as a duck and sleeping like an angel because you feel so good about your investing methods that you don’t have a stress in the world, I will never contend with that! You could be losing money with the investing you are doing, but if it is what makes you happy and keeps you at minimal stress levels, then I will still support you. I think this is such a big message that gets lost in the chaos: REI should be enjoyable! There will always be stress and mistakes and lessons learned, but at the end of the day, there is no reason you shouldn’t be enjoying what you do.
